   BioQuest works with technology transfer offices at universities and research institutes, as well as directly with investigators to identify and screen promising early-stage research in new medical technologies, from therapeutics, to diagnostics and medical devices.

   We work closely with our clients and partners to determine requirements, develop plans and provide the expertise and services necessary to accelerate value creation and achieve commercialization success.

   BioQuest assists with company creation and provides extensive management services including incorporation, negotiating license agreements, raising private equity, attracting world-class management teams and boards of directors, managing intellectual property, and arranging financing.

2. Providing expertise, management support and infrastructure to early stage companies
   BioQuest offers a wealth of expertise and services to help new and emerging pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device companies prepare for and navigate through the complex and challenging task of commercializing medical research.

   Our team has extensive experience in business development, intellectual property management, clinical trials design and management, and regulatory affairs, as well as acquisition and licensing negotiations.

   We are keenly aware that one of the biggest challenges facing biotech start-up companies is the balancing act between keeping costs down and maintaining the staff to provide necessary support services. In addition to assisting with CMO and CRO outsourcing, BioQuest provides office space and administrative services for some of our clients at our own offices in Toronto’s MaRS Centre to minimize our clients’ infrastructure requirements. As these clients grow and add their own internal resources, they will outgrow the need for these BioQuest services and move on, to be replaced by new start-ups that can benefit from this assistance.
